After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Oklahoma City University,
Sonya Barrett began her career in video production.

Starting as a reporter for an online news magazine, she gained experience in video story telling by shooting interviews and editing news packages. Sonya moved from reporting to creative video production, where she shot and edited pieces for Major League Baseball Network, Bass Pro Shops, the University of Oklahoma, the City of Oklahoma City, and SONIC Drive-In. She also worked in the camera department on films, including The Veil starring William Mosely and the horror anthology V/H/S.

Sonya uses a variety of editing software and camera equipment. She is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and skilled in DSLR shooting. In her spare time, Sonya helps create online webisodes and shorts. She also writes songs and performs original music.
